Childbirth Education
Preparing for your birth and journey into parenthood doesn’t have to be overwhelming, or just another thing to do. We help to break down your options, which gives space for you to discover your desires for your experience.
We believe that every birthing person (and their partner) should have an educational experience that is centered completely around their unique needs.
When it comes to childbirth education, facing all the options and things you need to learn can feel like drinking from a fire hose. It can leave parents-to-be unsure on where to begin and where to go for accurate, evidence-based, and practical information. We recognize preparing for a child is a busy time of life and that it takes more intention to focus in to learn. We help simplify the information so that you can feel confident going into your birth. (In other words, we’re here to help you avoid the Google overwhelm and having to sort through information that isn’t relevant to you.)
Our Childbirth Education course is created around what it’s like to birth and parent in our local area. In addition to insider knowledge on the hospitals in our area, we also are educated and trained in advanced comfort measures for your birth. Our course is individualized to your needs and schedule, offering you the flexibility and privacy that you desire. We know that this can be a vulnerable experience and want you to feel safe to have your questions answered. We are here to help you not only learn, but to connect to yourself and your partner as you find confidence and your voice in your birth and early parenting.
We offer a full private childbirth education course, and also a course completely focused on comfort measures only. Whatever you want to learn, we can help!
