Advanced Comfort Measures Class- This class is for those who want to learn about relief techniques, discover the comfort measures that resonate with you, and how you and your partner can apply them practically in your birth. There will be a breakdown of which comfort measures to use during which stage/phase of labor and birth. You will be provided with a comfort measures guide to use throughout your labor and birth. In addition, this class will include a postpartum planning guide to make sure that comfort and care continues beyond your birth.
Childbirth Education- This class is designed to educate and prepare you for a wide range of birth scenarios and experiences. Topics covered: Birth Philosophies, Informed Consent, the Third Trimester, Birth Anatomy, the Labor and Birthing Process, Advanced Comfort Measures, Induction, Interventions (First Stage and Second Stage), Cesarean Birth, Newborn Procedures, Postpartum Period, and a Private Breastfeeding Class. This class is a six-week series (1-2 hours a week) it includes handouts, guides, and other resources.
